As the owner of Wagstaff Finance, I am a mortgage professional and with my experienced team, we work hard to deliver great finance solutions for our clients, that help them live the life they want. I have an extensive technical knowledge of credit and finance in Australia, and leverage over 20 years of experience to ensure better outcomes for my clients. We have a passion for technology and innovation and leverage this as much as possible to make it easier for you to provide the information we need.

I am a full member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and hold a Diploma of Finance (Mortgage Broking Management).

Sharon is our Client Services Manager, managing the loan application process. She has over 30 years of experience in finance and banking, with a passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams. She liaises with our clients, lenders, and solicitors throughout the process and ensures that our clients' needs are always looked after. Sharon holds a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

Sarah is our super friendly and helpful Client Services Officer, who loves assisting our clients through the loan process. 
With a background in Education, Retail and Banking, she is genuinely passionate about people and pride herself in providing the best possible customer experience with the highest level of honesty and integrity.  Sarah looks after our clients in the initial phases with our systems and documents required and manages all of our existing clients' needs post-settlement with repricing, reviews and variations.

Discovery

After an initial discussion about what you’re trying to do, we will gather some information from you prior to meeting relating to your income, assets and other financial information.

Initial meeting

During this meeting, we will talk about: What you are wanting do; Where you are now; How lending works; What is possible for your situation; What products may suit your goals and, How we deliver.

 

Research

We’ll scour the market, negotiate with lenders, to ensure our recommendation is in YOUR best interest and fits your individual needs.

 

Advice Presentation

You’ll be presented with our detailed advice document called a Game Plan that details our understanding of your position, your goals and objectives, what we are recommending and why, and the analysis and comparisons we have used.  We ensure you fully understand this prior to proceeding with the application to the lender.

 

Lodge Your Application

Our team works with the chosen lender to package, sign and lodge your documents – and do the legwork to get you approved. We are your guide through the process and liaise with all of the relevant parties, letting you know what you need to do at each step of the way to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

 

Approval

Time to celebrate!  We work tirelessly to get the right outcome for you.  Once approved, we will also co-ordinate the signing of loan documents and ensure everything is in order for settlement.

 

Settlement Day

This is the moment when everything goes through and your funds are released or you are the proud owner of a new home.  We’ll be there for you during and after the settlement process to ensure everything is set up the way it should be.

We stay in touch regularly and are there to answer any questions you may have and review your loan to ensure it still meets your requirements and is competitive.
